She/her | @themagiccirclebenlomond

Hello!  I'm Sierra (she/her). I love to crochet and I've been doing it for nearly twenty years. I live in Ben Lomond with my partner and two children, two dogs, two cats, and a snake. We have been here in Santa Cruz county for over ten years. Many things inspire my creations.  Sometimes I choose colors based on pallets I've seen in nature or my travels. The name "The Magic Circle" was originally a triple entendre.  When we lived in San Francisco, I started a knitting/crochet group (circle). It also refers to the Wiccan practice of casting a protective circle before practicing magick. Thirdly, it is the name of a crochet technique which begins circular projects. Some of my work has an eco-spin, such as reusable bags, cotton rounds, and jar coozies. I have a deep love of nature and I try to source yarn from neighbors and thrift stores whenever possible. Thank you for viewing my work. I hope you enjoy it.
